Radboud Summer School “Introduction to Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic Analysis” – 17 June – 11 July 2024

Dear colleagues,

As of today it is possible to sign up for Radboud Summer School “Introduction to Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic Analysis” that takes place between 17 June – 11 July 2024. This interactive online course is organized by the department of Pharmacy and division Pharmacology and Toxicology of the Radboud University Medical center, with contributions of renowned international experts in the field of clinical pharmacology.

The course is designed for PhD students, young researchers and Clinical Pharmacology fellows eager to increase their knowledge on pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic research. In addition, the course is suitable for (post-)graduates and professionals working in hospitals, universities, NGOs, industry, governments and have a background in (bio)medical and pharmaceutical science interested in conducting PK/PD research.

During a period of four weeks (work load: about 20 hours per week), you will follow online lectures, perform group assignments, and conduct individual exercises on the following subjects:

  1. General concepts of pharmacokinetics
  2. Pharmacokinetic analyses
  3. Interpretation of physiologically-based and population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modelling
  4. Bioanalysis

Your course leaders will be Angela Colbers (senior researcher) and Ralf Stemkens (hospital-pharmacist and clinical pharmacologist).

There is a maximum of 30 participants. Although the application deadline is June 1st 2024, an early bird fee is available until April 1st 2024. Furthermore, there is a discount for participants from lower and middle income countries. If you intend to participate we advise you to enroll as soon as possible, as our experience is that available slots are filled up rapidly.
